Sister Michaeleen,
C.S.C., celebrated her 60th
Jubilee as a Sister of Holy Cross on July 20, 2008.
Friends and relatives came from seven other states to be with her for
the celebration.
A Jubilee Mass with a Renewal of Vows for the 35 Sisters celebrating
25, 50, 60, and 75 years Profession was held on Sunday, July 20.
Holy Cross Sisters from around the world participated, some in their
native dress, and all sharing the expressive culture of their countries.
Sister Michaeleen gave the Reflection at the Mass (See Reflections #2)
Following the Mass, all the Jubilarians and their guests attended a
festive dinner in the College Dining Hall.
A party, held on Saturday, July 19 was enjoyed by all. For family,
it was especially meaningful bringing some relatives together after many
years. It was an afternoon to be remembered and cherished.
